Benedict and Scholastica in Norcia, St. Maria Goretti in Nettuno, and too many more to list! Experience the Eucharistic Miracle of Orvieto. Tour the major basilicas in Rome, have the opportunity for a papal audience (if available), and tour some of the most ancient sites in Rome. Visit the American Cemetery in Anzio and enjoy time by the Tyrrhenian Sea. Experience the Abbey of San Benedetto, the birthplace of the Benedictine Monks of Norcia and their famous home-brew, Birra Nursia. Fr. Walker will offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass daily at many of these holy sites.

Day 1 – May 23, 2027: Depart USA
Depart from the United States on an overnight flight to Italy.
Day 2 – May 24, 2027: Arrive in Rome / Assisi
Arrive in Rome and meet your tour escort. Board your private motor coach and depart for Assisi. Today’s activities will depend on your flight arrival time. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – May 25, 2027: Assisi
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a guided tour of Assisi, the hometown of Saint Francis of Assisi. Visit the main highlights, including the Basilica of St. Francis. The afternoon is free for personal exploration, prayer, or relaxation. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 – May 26, 2027: Excursion to Norcia & Cascia
After breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Norcia and Cascia. Norcia is the birth place of Sts. Benedict and Scholastic and where the Monks of Norcia reside. Cascia is associated with Saint Rita of Cascia. Return to Assisi for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – May 27, 2027: Assisi / Rome
After breakfast, depart for Rome. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy some free time for relaxation or exploring. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – May 28, 2027: Christian Rome
After breakfast, meet your guide for a tour of Christian Rome, including the major basilicas such as St. John Lateran, St. Mary Major, and St. Paul Outside the Walls. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – May 29, 2027: Vatican Museums / St. Peter’s Basilica
After breakfast, visit the Vatican Museums, pending confirmation, and St. Peter’s Basilica. The afternoon is free for personal activities. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8 – May 30, 2027: Excursion to Orvieto
After breakfast, depart for a day excursion to Orvieto to attend the Corpus Christi celebrations and procession (subject to confirmation by local authorities). Return to Rome for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 – May 31, 2027: Historic Rome
After breakfast, explore ancient Rome, including the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Pantheon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 10 – June 1, 2027: Excursion to Nettuno & Anzio
After breakfast, depart for Nettuno to visit the sites associated with Maria Goretti. Continue to Anzio to visit the American Cemetery and enjoy time by the Tyrrhenian Sea. Return to Rome for dinner and overnight.
Day 11 – June 2, 2027: Papal Audience
After breakfast, attend the Papal General Audience (subject to the Holy Father’s schedule). Afternoon is free for personal activities, prayer, or shopping. Dinner and overnight.
Day 12 – June 3, 2027: Rome / Return Home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
NOTES: Once the group is full we will request the Scavi Tour. If confirmed we may need to make changes / adjustments to the above schedule in order to accommodate this unique and highly requested visit. Vatican Museum Tickets can only be purchased once the group is complete and within 60 days of the visit. The visit, and the day and time of the visit is subject to confirmation. While no changes are anticipated, there may be occasions when sequence and days of visits may change and certain alterations become necessary due to changes/closures beyond our control. Mass will be celebrated daily. Times and locations are subject to confirmation.
