Peter and Paul, St. Catherine of Siena, and too many more to list! Stand in the Duomo of the Eucharistic Miracle of Orvieto. Experience the culture and architecture of Florence. Visit the Abbey of San Benedetto the birthplace of the Benedictine Monks of Norcia and their famous home-brew, Birra Nursia. Tour the major basilicas in Rome, have the opportunity for a papal audience (if available), and tour some of the most ancient sites in Rome. Fr. Miller will offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass daily at many of these holy sites.

Day 1 – OCTOBER 12th – DEPART USA
Depart for our overnight flight to Rome
DAY 2 – OCTOBER 13th – ARRIVAL IN ASSISI
Upon arrival, meet your Tour escort, board on your motor coach and drive to Assisi. Dinner and overnight. (D)
DAY 3 – OCTOBER 14th – ASSISI
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Assisi. We will visit the breathtaking Basilica of St Francis with its singular frescos and have the opportunity to pray at the grave of St. Francis, the Church of Santa Chiara, which houses her incorrupt body, the church of Santa Maria Maggorie which houses the tomb of Saint Carlo Acutis and the Basilica of St Mary of the Angels, a towering basilica built over the poor chapel of St. Francis, the Portiuncula. Dinner tonight at your hotel. (B, D)
DAY 4 – OCTOBER 15th – DAY TRIP NORCIA
Today we will have an excursion to Norcia, the birthplace of St. Benedict and St. Scholastica, and visit with the monks of Norcia and taste the fruit of their labor, Birra Nursia. Pending confirmation we may celebrate either Mass and/or Morning Prayer with the monks. Return to Assisi later in the afternoon. (B, D)
DAY 5 – OCTOBER 16th – ASSISI / SIENA / FLORENCE
This morning, drive to Siena, the birthplace of St. Catherine. Enjoy a walking tour of the medieval walled city, visiting the Basilica of St. Dominic, the Piazza del Campo, and the magnificent Cathedral. Continue onto Florence for dinner and overnight. (B, D)
DAY 6 – OCTOBER 17th – FLORENCE
Today, enjoy a guided visit of the city, including Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio and Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Florence. (B, D)
DAY 7 – OCTOBER 18th – FLORENCE / ORVIETO / ROME
We depart Florence and make our way to Rome. Before that, we stop in Orvieto, where we visit its Duomo and enjoy some time walking through the medieval streets. In the afternoon, drive to Rome. Dinner and overnight in Rome. (B, D)
DAY 8 – OCTOBER 19th – ROME
We begin the day with Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, followed by time to explore this amazing and beautiful Catholic basilica. In the afternoon, we visit ancient Rome, including Colosseum, Arches of Titus and Constantine. (B, D)
DAY 9 – OCTOBER 20th – ROME
Today we explore the most important Roman Basilica. In the morning we will visit St. John Lateran and the Scala Sancta. After lunch, we will visit and celebrate Mass at Santa Maria Maggiore and visit St. Paul Outside the Walls. Dinner and overnight in Rome. (B, D)
DAY 10 – OCTOBER 21st – ROME
This morning we make our way to St. Peter’s Basilica for the Papal Audience, pending the Holy Father’s schedule. The afternoon is free to explore the eternal city on your own. (B, D)
DAY 11 – OCTOBER 22nd – ROME
This morning, after Mass we’ll go on a walking tour to see a few of the most famous sites in Rome; Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. Dinner and overnight in Rome. (B, D)
DAY 12 – OCTOBER 23rd – RETURN TO USA
Today we transferred to the airport for our return flight home.
