Join Fr. Chris Mileski of Most Pure Heart of Mary (Shelby, OH) & St. Joseph (Plymouth, OH) on a pilgrimage to France! Explore the Catholic heritage of France in the footsteps of St. Therese, St. Joan of Arc, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Catherine Laboure (Miraculous Medal Apparition). Stroll the streets of Paris, visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mont San Michel, walk the beaches and cemetery of Normandy, and stand at the place where St. Joan of Arc was martyred. Admire the stunning architecture of the Gothic and Romanesque cathedrals of France. Fr. Mileski will offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass daily at many of these breathtaking sites.

Travel Itinerary

Day 1: Monday, March 2: Depart USA
Overnight flight to France.

Day 2: Tuesday, March 3: Arrive in France / Transfer to Lyon
Upon arrival we will visit the Cathedral of Lyon (Cathédrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste), with the beautiful Gothic architecture, the stunning stained-glass windows, and the astronomical clock. After our visit we will depart for Paray-le-Monial. Upon arrival we will check-in to our hotel for an overnight stay in Paray-le-Monial.

Day 3: Wednesday, March 4: Paray-le-Monial to Poitiers
This morning we will visit the Shrine of Paray-le-Monial. Explore the chapel, Chapelle de la Visitation, and the surrounding gardens. This afternoon we will depart for Poitiers, check-in to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Thursday, March 5: Poitiers
After breakfast we will explore Poitiers with visits to the historic sites including St. Hilary Church (Église Saint-Hilaire-le-Grand), a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Romanesque architecture. This afternoon you are free to enjoy and explore this town on your own. Dinner and overnight stay in Poitiers.

Day 5: Friday, March 6: Poitiers to Mont Saint Michel
Today we will depart Poitiers for Mont Saint Michel. Upon arrival, time permitting, we will have some time to explore the island. Dinner and overnight in Mont Saint Michel.

Day 6: Saturday, March 7: Mont Saint Michel
Today we have the entire day to explore Mont Saint Michel. Visit the abbey, the village, and enjoy the stunning views. Dinner and overnight in Mont Saint Michel.

Day 7: Sunday, March 8: Normandy Beaches / American Cemetery
After breakfast we will depart for Normandy Beaches. Today we will visit The American Cemetery at Omaha Beach and explore other significant WWII sites. Continue onto Lisieux for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Monday, March 9: Lisieux
Today we will visit the Basilica of Saint Therese, with stunning architecture and grounds. This afternoon we will visit the Cathedral of Saint Pierre and explore the local shops Dinner and overnight stay in Lisieux.

Day 9: Tuesday, March 10: Lisieux to Rouen to Paris
This morning we will depart for Rouen. Upon arrival we will explore Rouen, with visits to the Rouen Cathedral and the historic city center. Admire the Church of St. Joan of Arc, a modern church built on the site of her martyrdom. This afternoon we will depart for Paris. Check into accommodation. This evening: Stroll around the streets of Paris. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Wednesday, March 11: Paris
Today we will visit the Miraculous Medal Chapel and St. Vincent de Paul Church. This afternoon we will visit Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Montmartre. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Day 11: Thursday, March 12: Paris
Today we will visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Sainte Chapelle. Time permitting we will visit the Arc de Triomphe and take a stroll down the Champs-Élysées. The remainder of the day will be free for your shopping or additional sightseeing.

Day 12: Friday, March 13: Paris
After breakfast we make our way to the airport for our flight home.

NOTES: While no changes are anticipated, there may be occasions when sequence and days of visits may change and certain alterations become necessary due to changes/closures beyond our control. All Masses are subject to final confirmation. The first and last day could changed based on the flight schedule. In todays uncertain times all prices are subject to change prior to departure due to major currency fluctuations, changes in fuel prices and/or unforeseen economic circumstances beyond our control.
