Join Frs. Michael Dandurand and Joseph Poggemeyer on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land! The Holy Scriptures will be illuminated for our pilgrims through the very environment in which God chose to become man. Breathe in the sea air at the sites around the Sea of Galilee. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes, Capharnaum, Cana, Nazareth, Mt. Tabor, and Caesarea Philippi. Pray at the birth place of our Lord in Bethlehem. Renew your baptismal vows at the Jordan River. Ascend to Jerusalem to visit the Upper Room, pray in the Garden of Gethsemane, descend into the pit where Jesus was held after being arrested, walk the Via Dolorosa, stand where Our Sorrowful Mother stood at the foot of the cross, and enter into the Empty Tomb. Your faith will never be the same. Your chaplains will offer the Sacrifice of Holy Mass at many of these holy sites.
The founder of Catholic Faith Journeys, Maggie McDaniel, is a member of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, whose mission is to care for the Holy sites and Christians in the Holy Land. Right now, our Christian brothers and sisters in the Holy Land have lost the ability to work, due to the lack of tourism. Our mission is to support the Christians in the Holy Land. We use hotels that are run by or who employ Christians whenever possible. Our guides are Christian and we will go to Christian restaurants where available. Please join us in supporting our brothers and sisters in Christ in person. Together let us help the Christians return to work by visiting the Holy Land. While they rely on our continued prayers, and gratefully except any donations, all our Christian brothers and sisters really want to do is work.
