TUESDAY – August 27 (Day 1): Depart from Indianapolis
Overnight flight to Tel Aviv with a transfer in Newark.
WEDNESDAY – August 28 (Day 2): Arrival Tel Aviv / Caesarea / Haifa / Transfer to Tiberias
Arrival Ben Gurion Airport this morning and meet our Catholic Tour Guide. We head to visit Caesarea Maritima where we see the Roman’s amphitheater. We will stop for lunch along the way, included. We continue on to visit Haifa where we visit Stella Maris Monastery and Celebrate Mass. Transfer to Tiberias for dinner and overnight (L, D)
THURSDAY – August 29 (Day 3): Mt. Beatitudes / Caesarea Philippi / Tabgha
Following breakfast we start our day with a visit to Mount of Beatitudes for Mass. Continue on to Caesarea Philippi where Jesus said, “You are Peter (Rock)!” Drive through Golan Heights and enjoy lunch, not included, at a Druze restaurant. Continue to Tabgha where Jesus multiplied loaves and fishes and visit the Primacy of Peter where Jesus said, “Feed My sheep”. Dinner at hotel. Overnight in Tiberias. (B, D)
FRIDAY – August 30 (Day 4): Mount Tabor / Nazareth / Cana / Tiberias
Following breakfast, we will ascend the Mount of Transfiguration where we celebrate Mass. We continue on to Nazareth where we visit the Church of the Annunciation and Mary’s Well. We continue to visit the House of the Holy Family. We end our day with a visit to Cana the Wedding Church for Renewal of Wedding vows. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias (B, D)
SATURDAY – August 31 (Day 5): Sea of Galilee / Capernaum / Jerusalem
Today after breakfast, we enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. After which we visit Capernaum for Mass and see the synagogue where Jesus said “Eat My Flesh!” Today we will enjoy the famous Lunch of St. Peter’s Fish, included. Then we will start our way towards Jerusalem. Check in at our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight (B, L, D)
SUNDAY – September 01 (Day 6): Ein Karem / Shepherds’ Field / Bethlehem
Following breakfast, we will visit the village of Ein Karem where we visit both Churches of Visitation and St. John the Baptist. Then we will visit the Shepherds’ Field where the Angel appeared to the Shepherds and celebrate Mass. Following we will make a visit to an Olive Wood store to support Local Christians. We will visit the Church of the Nativity built over the birthplace of Jesus. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. (B, D)
MONDAY – September 02 (Day 7): Jericho / Qumran / Dead Sea / Jerusalem
After breakfast we depart to visit Jericho one of the oldest cities in the world. We celebrate Mass in Jericho. Next we will visit the Baptismal Site where the group may renew their baptismal vows. Then we will visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Afternoon we enjoy a free time in the Dead Sea to float in the Salty Rich Mineral Water. Back to our hotel for dinner and overnight (B, D)
TUESDAY – September 03 (Day 8): Mount Olives / Gethsemane / St. Anne
Today after breakfast, with a visit to Mount of Olives where we visit the Church of the Pater Noster where Jesus taught his disciples the Lord’s Prayer. We will stop for a panoramic view over Jerusalem where our tour guide will point the most important sites in Jerusalem. We will walk down the Palm Sunday road towards Gethsemane, where we will stop and celebrate Mass. Then we visit the Church of St. Anne where Mary was born and the Pools of Bethesda where Jesus healed a crippled man. We then enter through the Dung Gate to see the Western Wall. Today’s afternoon is free where you can walk and explore Jerusalem on your own. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. (B, D)
WEDNESDAY – September 04 (Day 9): Via Dolorosa / Calvary / Mount Zion / Transfer to Airport
Depart early this morning and travel along the Via Dolorosa. Arrive at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and celebrate Mass. Touch the top of Mount Calvary. Back to hotel for breakfast and check out from hotel. Enjoy lunch at Jewish kibbutz. Drive to Mt. Zion to visit the Church of the Dormition and the Upper Room, ending at the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu. After dinner we are transferred to Ben Gurion Airport for our 11:10 pm return flight home. (B, D)
THURSDAY – September 05 (Day 10): Arrive USA
Arrive back home with a greater love for your faith and memories of lifetime.
